- Abstract
- This paper analyzes the basic concept, behaviors, and requirements of the calibration methods for the commercial array antennas used in the base stations of LTE-A mobile systems. It also proposes a new calibration method using omnidirectional pre-coded cell-specific reference signals (CRSs) that are originally used for the received power measurement by the user equipment (UE).
