Abstract
A dual-polarised small base station (BS) with a metallic isolator is presented. A high isolation is achieved by using a shorted metallic isolation patch. The experimental results of the proposed BS antenna indicate a measured impedance bandwidth of 812-910 MHz, and an isolation of more than 25 dB. The proposed antenna exhibits good radiation patterns with a gain of 4 dBi.
