- Abstract
- Climate change and environmental issues are beyond the specific regions and countries and it has extended as a matter of global dimensions. The UN operates UNEP-Live which is a global environmental information system and through this, it aims to support allowing easy access to the environmental information of countries around the world and using it. In this study, EDEN system for providing environmental information by analyzing the satellite image is proposed and in order to confirm the availability of analysis on satellite images by using the EDEN system, NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) calculation model is applied and tested. Finally the NDVI analysis result is compared with the RGB combined image.
