Abstract
This paper presents a modified form of systolic array based on extended QR-recursive least squares (QR-RLS) algorithm for solving covariance inversion routine applied to space-time (S-T) array receiver. For reducing cycle time of covariance inversion routine, we propose a modified systolic array suitable for multi-DSP parallel processing. Optimum minimum mean square error (MMSE) adaptive weight calculation algorithm for reverse link beamforming is considered, taking account of real time processing requirements.
