Abstract
In this paper, we analysed the interference effects of LTE femtocell BS in adjacent band by WLAN AP using the 2.4GHz ISM band. We performed Monte-Carlo simulations on the average throughput loss according to variation of guard band and isolation distance to evaluate how much interference radiating from WLAN AP is imposed on the LTE femtocell BS. From the simulation result, we suggest the operational method of avoiding an unacceptable amount of interference.
