- Abstract
- Moiré effect due to the periodic relationship between the flat display panel to present the different images for 3D perception and an optical system to form viewing zone at the viewing distance is one of most important factors to consider the design of an autostereoscopic multiview display. In this paper, we analyze the causes of the moiré patterns stemming from the pitch and the slanted angle between flat display panel and the parallax barrier on autostereoscopic multiview display, and compare the simulation results and measurements of the moiré patterns occurred in the autostereoscopic multiview display.
