Abstract
A new scheme combining the space-time block coding (STBC) with the modified Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) methods for the multiuser system in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) environment is proposed. The main objective of the proposed scheme is to enhance the performance of the multiuser system by not only the transmit diversity but also mitigating the effect of multiple access interference (MAI) with SVD. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
