- Abstract
- This paper proposes the basic concepts and functions of the home server platform for implementing a digital home. Our home server has various kinds of home network devices and multimedia processing modules. The digital TV (D-TV) service and remote multimedia service are available, and the instant message service is implemented on the basis of open service gateway initiative (OSGi) framework. It is certain that our home server can be a core device of the home digital service environments.
