Abstract
This paper presents the tunable transceiver with internal wavelength locker for time and wavelength multiplexed optical access network. Because of the cyclic property of the tunable filters, the passband of the tunable filter can be aligned not only to the downstream wavelength channel but also to the upstream wavelength channel. The feasibility of the proposed idea is demonstrated by using a thermally tunable Fabry-Perot filter.
