- Abstract
- We propose the performance enhanced optical CDMA systems using a gain-saturated semiconductor optical amplifier(GS-SOA). The GS-SOA has the functions of not only signal amplification but also noise reduction. We have numerically analyzed that the performance and simultaneous user number of the proposed optical CDMA systems can be dramatically enhanced.
