Abstract
Even though previous some schemes was proposed to decide call admission of multiple traffic classes, they did not consider fairness for number of blocked calls among traffic classes. In this paper, we propose a new a new adaptive and predictive measurement-based fair call admission control policy in packet radio networks. Unlike previous works, it can reduce computation overhead and rapidly re-allocate resources to keep desired Quality of Service (QoS) demands. Also, it fairly admits integrated voice and data traffic to prevent unfair service degradation. With simulation results, we evaluate QoS constraints and call blocking probability fairness. © 2004 IEEE.
