- Abstract
- This paper provides an object acquiring time saving scheme at set-top box (STB) in a data broadcasting service using DSM-CC object carousel The waiting time of contents after a user start them is depends on a transmission interval of contents o r the parsing time of them in STB after receiving broadcasted data. Therefore, we can reduce the waiting time to run contents by broadcasting them with a very short interval or parsing them with a high processing power in STB. In this circumstance, we propose a novel and sophisticated scheme which cad run contents fast using pre-processor in head-end.
