- Abstract
- We implemented a transponder, which satisfies ITU-T G.709 (OTN: optical transport network) and can accommodate up to ten signals of independent protocols, including Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel, based on the framing technologies of generic framing procedure (GFP) protocol and virtual concatenation process. The test results showed error-free status for > 76 hours.
