- Abstract
- Polarizer-free LCDs were prepared by doping a black dye into NLCs. To evaluate electro-optical performance, we developed a 3.5-inch AM TFT transparent LCD and a 3-inch PM LCD by using black dye doped-LC technology. The obtained LCDs exhibit good optical performance, fast response times and low driving voltage.
