- Abstract
- Attention has been paid increasingly to the workflow system using rapidly developing internet technology. The attention has been extended to between workflow systems system for interoperability of inter-firm workflow systems as well as intra-firm workflow system. This paper will address different workflow engines and mechanism for their interoperation, which correspond to the Interface 4 in the WfMC Reference Model that is a specification of the Workflow Management Coalition proposed by the WfMC(Workflow Management Coalition). Using Wf-XML message transmission and HTTP protocol for interoperability of workflow engines of organizations, this study proposes an Between workflow systems system supporting a model for interoperation between chained process and nested sub-process..
