Abstract
The applications for telematics are not anymore limited to classical embedded control system, such as airbag control software, but cover a broad range from mission critical embedded systems in automotive field, driver assistance to infortainment and personalization. To design, implement and manage a complexity of such a huge, heterogeneous distributed system with increasingly short innovation cycles, we need furthermore new middleware architecture for the automotive domain that allow to support the different software types specifically, corresponding to their requirements and later on integrate the system parts to one reliable and manageable system. This paper is intended to suggest middleware architecture for researchers interested in the field of in-vehicle software. This middleware architecture is based on international standards, such as OSGi framework and AMI-C Specification.
