Abstract
We demonstrate a hologram generation method for holographic display based on viewing window. Complex fields diffracted from different object planes are superposed at the viewing window plane, and then, complex field of the viewing window is propagated backward to the hologram plane. In addition, we remove the conjugate image by spatial shift and/or band-limiting of the complex fields of the viewing window depending on the spatial frequency distribution of the hologram.
