- Abstract
- The embedded systems, which are different from size, design, performance and functions, are produced into various products. Currently, these products are shown in a series of products with similar functionality called product family. It is unsuitable to apply the traditional development methodology to the development of embedded systems owing to the strong resource constraints and the integration of hardware with hardware-dedicated software. Therefore, it is required to systematically support development of embedded systems within tight time schedule. The authors provide the development methodology for embedded system family characterized with systematic structure and organization.
