Abstract
In this paper, we analytically show how the circle trajectory of viewing window positions is deviated for a table-top hologram display in case that SLM is fixed without rotation but mirror optics rotating for transferring the viewing window to a viewer’s eye. A simple hologram generation technique is proposed for compensation of viewing window rotation. The technique does not involve time-consuming computational processes like modifying 3D positions of each object point per each rotation angle, but only a single 2D rotation. This enables us to view correct holograms in a non-rotating SLM and rotating mirror optics configuration without additional optical or HW devices.
