- BcN (Broadband Convergence Network) is an integrated next generation network that supports high quality broadband multimedia services that require various networks such as data communication, broadcasting, and Internet anytime, anywhere seamlessly. This BcN is a technological base that enables to integrate existing information technology and services, and it promotes development of new goods and services. A lot of investments about BcN business have been achieved with these importance, and now, BcN standardization that is promising great economical benefit becomes a key issue. Therefore, in this report, we apply the 'interindustry analysis' technique to predict economic effect of BcN standardization quantitatively. To do this, we formalize the relation between BcN and related industries using input-output table, and analyze various economic effects against investments for BcN standardization from 2004 to 2010.
