본 논문은 QAM 변조방식과 준정지 Ralyleigh 페이딩 채널 환경에서 3개의 송신 안테나를 사용할 경우 추가로 주 파수 대역을 사용하지 않고 최대 다이버시티 이득을 획득하는 새로운 준직교 시공간블록부호를 제안한다. 이 제안된 부호는 기존의 A-ST-CR 부호[10],[11]와 같이 성상 회전 선부호기[7]~[9]와 Alamouti 부호[3]를 적절히 직 렬연 접하여 구성된다. 실험 결과, 제안된 부호는 QPSK와 16-QAM 변조방식을 사용할 경우 평균 심벌오율(SER) 10-5에서 기존의 ST-CR 부호보다 각각 약 1.5dB와 3dB 코딩 이득의 성능 향상을 보인다. 특히 이 부호는 기존의 준직교 시공간블록부호들[4]~[6],[11] 처럼 준직교 특성을 만족하여 수신단에서 최대우도 복호 복잡도를 크게 줄일 수 있다.
