- 컴퓨터 기술은 온라인화를 넘어서 유비쿼터스 시대를 눈앞에 두고 있다. 컴퓨터 기술과 함께 성장한 컴퓨터 게임 기술도 2D 그래픽 중심의 패키지 게임에서 3D 그래픽을 기반으로 한 온라인 게임을 넘어서 유비쿼터스 시대를 준비하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 시대의 컴퓨터 환경에서 가장 큰 변화 중 하나는 인간과 컴퓨터간의 인터페이스(Human-Computer Interface: HCI) 변화이다.
