Abstract
There are many research results on newly rising RFID technology. One of the best examples is the RFID-enabled banknote. The main goals of the RFID-enabled banknotes protection system are to track the illegal circulation of money and to detect the forged notes. At Financial Cryptography 2003, Ari Juels and Ravikanth Pappu announced a leading concept related to RFID-enabled banknotes protection system. In this paper, we propose and analyze the privileged tracking mechanism of the law enforcement agency and the clone detection mechanism of merchants by supplementing new database structure and the number of write-operation to Juels-Pappu scheme. Our researches on the RFIDenabled banknotes protection system demonstrate that the privileged law enforcement agency can track routes of banknotes and merchants can detect the banknote forgery and clone of the regular banknote.
