- Abstract
- In this paper, we analyze spreading and influencing power of VoIP spam which is expected to emerge as popularity of VoIP service increases. We choose several variables which affect the power of VoIP spam.And we analyze the relationships between the variables and the utilities of spammer and spam receivers. Finally, we estimate the level of spreading power of VoIP spam in the respect of utility of VoIP spammer and influencing power in the respect of utility of receivers. The analysis concludes that wide spread and great damage caused by VoIP spam are so probable and several activities for countering VoIP spam are needed.
