Abstract
The service techonology on mobile world is dynamically changing according to the demands of customer's new kinds of intelligent requirements. And recently, mobile devices and networks are rapidly growing in the aspects of functional performance. Now mobile operators and service providers are facing and challenging with new service technologies as well as business markets. Current mobile technologies are deeply related with the technologies of web server domain. Web world is evolving into new service architecture, i.e, open, sharing, and reusing servcie, using web service technology. Because of this, web service technology makes it possible to expand new service paradigm into mobile internet world. From the mobile terminal viewpoint, the computing power of mobile devices is now enough powerful to support advanced services with web server system. Today, mobile operators are researching new kinds of applications and trying to provide new generation of services. Already, mobile web service technologies are introducing and stabilizing in the web world. Web service technologies are motivating to offer new mobile intelligent service through connecting with wired and wireless domain. Recently, semantic technology in intelligency field is considering on important topics as well as web service. With these kinds of technologies, mobile operators and service providers are trying to support the new solutions for new kinds of intelligent and customized mobile services. [1] [2] Background on this, more personalized and customized service is demanding for mobile internet service to mobile users. Though such kinds of services are defficult to fully implement in current service architecture, but we think it has meaning to focus on the research topics. This kind of service can provide more intelligent service to users than that of traditional mobile internet. To support new concept of personalization service, current mobile service's frameworks, like WAP architecture, needs to enhance more flexible architecture to provide such kind service. [3] [4] In this paper, we review the system characteristics of current mobile internet architecture and consider the possible personalization service architecture for future mobile services. We tried to compare the difference between traditional and proposed system, and in a level of lab testbed, we design the framework and find the required software modules for a mobile personalization service, which is related with context-aware processing. Also, our research tried to suggest a context-aware optimization model for mobile users, which is based on user-preference information. Finally, we also propose an optimization methodology for the adoption of context-aware mobile functions into the prototype system.
