- Abstract
- This paper proposes a technique of creating a human skin color model exploiting a correlation between colors consisting of pixels within central area of nude images. On the supposition that the central area of nude images is mostly skin region, we can say that highly correlated colors taken from the central area represent human skin color. The proposed technique is efficient and novel in that the effort to label manually the skin pixels in the training set of skin images can be saved, so new skin color model for certain purposes can be created quickly and automatically from the set of nude images.
