- Abstract
- In Mobile IPv6, the location privacy of the mobile node is one of the issues which should be addressed before the extensive adoption of Mobile IPv6. The particular part of Mobile IPv6 specification which raises the location privacy concern is Route Optimization which consists of Return Routability procedure and Binding Updates to correspondent nodes. In this paper, we propose a new Route Optimization protocol which preserves the location privacy of the mobile node.
