More Convenient User Authentication Mechanism using Authentication Information Storage Server in Home Network

- Abstract
- User authentication is an essential component in using internet contents through home network or general network. Generally, if contents server is different, user authentication information is also different. So, it is very difficult that users remember their own authentication information for various contents servers. As the solution, we propose a user authentication mechanism. That is, users don’t need to memorize their user authentication information about contents servers. Users store their authentication information about the contents servers to the secure authentication information storage server. And then users can use the contents by only being authenticated at the authentication information storage server. In this paper, we will describe user authentication mechanism using authentication information storage server and the application of our user authentication mechanism in home network.
