Abstract
In this paper, a novel spread spectrum watermarking scheme which is one of the content protection techniques is applied to 3-dimensional television system. In this research, we proposed and exploited new research field which is applying security technique into 3DTV system. The proposed watermarking technique is applied into a source image used to get stereoscopic images for 3DTV system. The watermark patterns are embedded into transformed domain of the depth map by using spread spectrum technique which gives robustness against malicious attacks. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm is effective, even after the depth image is attacked by pre-processing.
