- Abstract
- In this paper, we suggested that a novel technique for sky and ground segmentation under natural environment. Generally, the horizon line, the dividing line between the sky and the ground region, plays an important starting role to analyze the image under real applications, such as military and surveillance. In our proposed technique, the only one channel value is used for dividing two regions through ordinary classification technique, and fitting the boundary pixels of two regions into more precise line models. Experiments showed that our proposed technique gives more suitable segmentation than the previous technique
