Abstract
By developing industrial technologies such as Industrial Automation, Production Automation, and Robot Systems, the necessity of interworking between industrial devices has been grown up for efficient data distribution and automatic control of them. Although the existing industrial technologies provide functionalities of information sharing and system control, there are many problems for industrial devices to interconnect and interwork, because of lacking of industrial standard to utilize for interworking, and focusing on only field-level interworking. In this paper, we design new industrial communication middleware to support information sharing and systems control in manufacturing devices from field devices (sensor, actuator, and motor) to information devices(MES, ERP) for Cyber-Physical Production System(CPPS). Through framework we propose, the users just define data types and control services for interworking, they can easily integrate industrial devices to share and control information between them with minimizing user intervention.
