Abstract
We show optical far field distribution given by the plasmonic nano-slit structures can be probed by the use of two types of phase imaging techniques. Digital holographic microscopy and the phase-retrieving method based on the transport of intensity equation are used to characterize the intensity distribution emanating from plasmonic nano-slit structures.
