Abstract
In this paper, we describe the middleware platform architecture for pervasive wireless infrastructure such as sensor network and RFID, which is ongoing in ETRI. There are many challenges in establishing middleware for pervasive information and computing resources. Our project focuses on sensor network abstraction for various types of sensor networks, RFID, mobile RFID and so forth for future. To do this, we define standard interfaces between USN middleware and sensor network, RFID. In addition to lower layer abstraction, our project aims at context aware sensing data acquisition/work-flow processing and real-time sensing data processing over heterogeneous wireless infrastructure.
