- Abstract
- The telematics field is highlighted as one of the wireless sensor network field of application. However, because of telematics environments, we have to satisfy some requirements for convergence of telematics service and wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we introduce a telematics service for convergence of telematics and wireless sensor network technology and explain several requirements needed for designing such a convergence service. Then, we propose a service system that can satisfy those requirements of 1) energy efficient operation, 2) deployment considering road structure, and 3) routing schemes considering data traffic characteristic. It is expected that this service system can be helpful as a proper reference for converging telematics and wireless sensor network technology.
