Abstract
In this paper, we research the method for modeling altitude of camera by camera tilt rotation in ocean scene. First, we extract the horizon from edge image sequence. Then, compute the camera tilt rotation using the normal vector of an ocean plane. Next, calculate the altitude and model the wave using cubic smoothing spline. Therefore, we can determine the camera altitude despite the windy weather or without any marker. As a result, it makes augmented reality in ocean scene possible.
