Abstract
CG and Photo-realistic image composition on an ocean scene is widely used in contents industry area such as movie, advertisements and broadcasting. For good composition, exact camera motion tracking on an ocean scene is necessary. Our strategy is to use the previous knowledge about the background geometry. In the case of ocean background, we can consider the background as an infinite plane and we used this fact for calculating camera rotation. We applied proposed method to the production of a commercial movie, 'Hanbando' which was exhibited at July, 2006. The result was as excellent as none can find the mismatch between CG objects and the real background.
