초록
The Ka-band communication payload in the COMS satellite communication system(SATCOM) will provide high-speed multimedia services in the public communications network and communication services for disaster relief in the government communications network. For the evaluation of the design results for the COMS Ka-band payload in end-to-end communication system point of view, it is necessary to access the effect of the RF performances degradation of the overall system BER performance. In this paper, the designed critical major parameters (spurious outputs, phase noise and TWTA induced AM/PM and AM/PM) are evaluated how to affect QPSK system BER performance. © 2007 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc.
