초록
A multi-mission geostationary Earth orbit satellite, Communications, Ocean, and Meteorological Satellite (COMS) has three payloads including Ka-band communications, geostationary ocean sensing imager, and meteorological imager. COMS has only one solar array in the south panel because all of the imaging sensors are located in the north panel. In order to maintaining the spacecraft attitude with 5 wheels and 7 thrusters, COMS should perform twice a day wheel off-loading thruster firing operations which affect on the satellite orbit. All of the flight dynamics operation should consider the wheel off-loading operations. There are many COMS specific functions from Eurostar 3000 bus allocated to the Satellite Ground Control System (SGCS). The COMS specific functions affect on the telemetry processing, command generation, mission scheduling, and flight dynamics operation. COMS SGCS is divided into five subsystems such as Telemetry, Tracking, and Command subsystem (TTC), Realtime Operations Subsystem (ROS), Mission Planning Subsystem (MPS), Flight Dynamics Subsystem (FDS), and COMS Simulator Subsystem (CSS). COMS specific functions affect on the design of the ROS, MPS, and FDS. In this paper, design of the generic SGCS functions and implementation of the COMS specific functions are described. Generic functions and COMS specific functions are allocated into the ROS, MPS, and FDS for COMS satellite mission control. © 2007 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc.
