Abstract
In this paper, we describe a novel image taking apparatus that can interact with people. The goal of this research is to make the system act like a professional human photographer. This system is based on a mobile robot system that has mobility, stereo vision camera, wireless communication functions. This device can recognize waving hands of people, moves towards them and takes pictures with appropriate conditions. The images are transmitted to personal computers over the wireless network. In comparison with previous researches, the most unique things of this system are human interaction and user preference. To realize these properties, this novel photographer system is considered optical property of lens and applied interesting vision algorithms those were never tried before for previous photographing systems.
