Abstract
To provide personalized UPnP A/V session mobility service following a user's movement trajectory in the home, we designed a RFID-based UPnP A/V session manager. It automatically tracks users' locations based on notification events received from RFID readers, and captures or restores the states of playing A/V contents using the UPnP A/V Transport service which defines a common model for A/V transport control. We present the session manager's functional architecture and describe the detailed control flow sequence for session mobility control.
