Abstract
In the Digital Identity Management, people paid attention to the User-Centric Id Management which adapts the user's participation of the Web 2.0 Technology. A user located in the User-Centric Id Management not only control the flow of the identity-related information own by himself/herself, but also have to take several risks such as the complexity of security setting, repeated interaction, and so on. Moreover, it is difficult for a user to obtain the reference information which appropriately carries out the corresponding determination and gives a help although the responsibility of the determination is given to. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an expert system embedded with the identity selector for the general users to provide a guideline about the use of the identity-related information in the User-Centric IdM. The Decision Assistant Model (DAM), an expert system, recommends whether a user progresses the correspond transaction which requires the identity-related information of the user is appropriate. Various aspects of the transaction are considered by the DAM at the decision step. The inclination of a user is part of the history of transaction. It is also used to enable a personalized and automated identity selector which decides the providing of identity-related information for the corresponding transaction in behalf of the user.
