- Abstract
- As the high-speed Internet access service is disseminated rapidly, Subscriber’s concern about the Internet access service migrates from the network speed to the service quality. As this trend goes, SLA will be positioned an essential element between ISP and subscriber. SLA management system is able to settle various disputes about the network service quality and, ISP may have the confidence in the field of Internet access service market distinctly by providing SLA service as well. At the same time, ISP is able to utilize the SLA management system in improving the service quality additionally. For the foreseeable, SLA management system will play an important role in the network management area together with OSS. As an essential element, SLA management system should have to be carefully designed in order to be applied in the various service area and the heterogeneous environments. Proposed SLA management system has lots of merits in processing SLA regulations, and also solves lots of design and implementation issues.
