Abstract
A multiuser scheduling algorithm in multiple input multiple output (MIMO) broadcast channels (BCs) is presented. It is likely that there is a time difference between obtaining channel state information (CSI) and using that CSI at the transmitter. This causes mismatches of the channel estimate in a temporally correlated MIMO BC. The proposed algorithm can minimise the effect of the delay-induced channel estimation error by exploiting statistical CSI for allocating multiple users into spatio-temporal slots in a cross-layer way. © 2008 The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
