- This paper describes the design and implementation of Mobile Location-Awareness service based on embedded Linux. In Mobile Location-Awareness, the picture and GPS information at mobile terminal are stored on server through wireless network. With the Mobile Location-Awareness, user can easily identify the location where the picture was taken on through Yahoo map. The implemented Mobile Location-Awareness also helps user to manage pictures according to the location where they were taken and visit that place again. We verified functions of Mobile Location-Awareness using MCC mobile terminal made by ETRI. © 2008 IEEE.
