Abstract
We should consider many variable factors when deploying sensor nodes to a real field. However, we used to face with new unpredictable conditions in a field. On-demand node updating technique is very useful in these cases. Low power consumption is another requirement for sensor nodes because sensor nodes are generally distributed in wide area using small batteries only. In this paper, we suggest a new low power partial update technique for reducing power and time to update the sensor nodes. © 2008 IEEE.
