Abstract
Antenna array for system-on-package operating at 60 GHz based on low-temperature cofired ceramics technology has been designed using Ansoft HFSS software. The parasitic microstrip antenna with stacked elements is proposed as antenna array single element. Parasitic microstrip antenna with aperture coupling feeding has a wide 10-dB return loss bandwidth about 18% compared with the central frequency and high gain about 6.9 dBi. As the result, the designed 16-element antenna array with corporate feed network has about 20% bandwidth and about 18 dBi gain. Designed antenna can be easily fabricated on LTCC substrate.
