Abstract
Bandwidth-limited pulses of sub-50 fs duration at 1506 nm are generated by a Cr:YAG laser mode-locked with a single-walled carbon nanotube saturable absorber. A Stokes shifted sideband at 1626 nm is observed for the broadest oscillation spectra. © 2013 Astro Ltd.
