무선통신 채널의 환경은 디지털통신 시스템의 수신기 성능에 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 무선통신채널이 페이딩환경에서 가산성 잡음과 간섭이 동시에 존재하는 것으로 가정한 후 BPSK 변조신호에 대한 디지털 수신기의 성능(비트에러확률)을 분석하고자 한다. 여기서 간섭은 Middleton의 A급 간섭이라 가정하며, A급 간섭에서도 임펄스성 지수가 큰 값을 갖는다고 가정하였다. 이 가정은 도심지에서 일어나는 인공잡음에서 흔히 나타나는 특징 중의 하나로 알려져 있다. 시뮬레이션 결과에서 이러한 채널환경에 대해 신호대간섭비에 따른 수신기의 성능은 페이딩이 없는 경우보다 페이딩이 있는 환경에서 현저히 감소함을 보여주었다. 따라서 본 논문의 결과는 디지털통신 시스템의 설계에 유효하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
