- Abstract
- This paper describes implementation details of route optimization support for Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6). The implementation details presented in the paper leverages route optimization mechanism defined in [5], which is based on Mobile IPv6 and extends the procedures in order to apply for PMIPv6. Our implementation supports route optimization for both IPv6 mobile nodes and IPv4 mobile nodes.
