DRM Applied Contents Share in Digital Home

- DRM(Digital Rights Management) and CAS(Conditional Access System) techniques have been used to cut off the illegal use of contents. These techniques, however, resulted in much inconvenience as restricting the move or play of the content of even legal users. In this paper, we propose a new content share technique based on domain according to the increment of the demand about the flexible content use and share in digital home. The proposed scheme can prevent content being flowed out and cut off the illegal use as describing domain license in the extent of DRM license. ©2009 IEEE.
